Sadie & Sebastian’s incredible Autumn Farm Wedding at Silchester Farm | London Wedding Photography
A COUNTRYSIDE WEDDING WITH NONE OF THE USUAL. ALL FUN, ALL THE TIME.
Some weddings just radiate pure happiness, and Sadie and Sebastian’s autumn celebration at Silchester Farm was one of those days where everyone had the biggest smiles on their faces. The setting was absolutely gorgeous – a proper working farm with all the rustic charm you could want. Their barn ceremony was beautiful and intimate, then we moved to the hall for dinner and speeches, but honestly? The best bit was watching guests during golden hour wandering around meeting the pigs, goats, and sheep. There’s something about farm animals that just makes everyone act like kids again.
This wasn’t just a wedding, it was a proper coming together of American and UK families, and you could feel how special that was. Different accents, different traditions, everyone travelling to be there and celebrate these two – it created this incredible atmosphere of joy and connection. The speeches captured that beautifully, with all the emotion and laughter that comes from families blending together and welcoming new members.
DID YOU HAVE FEEDING TIME FOR SHEEP AT YOUR WEDDING? YEH DIDN’T THINK SO
The whole day had this relaxed, happy energy that you can’t fake. Autumn at a farm is already pretty perfect for photos – all those warm colours and that soft light – but add in genuinely joyful people and some very photogenic livestock, and you’ve got yourself a cracker of a day. Sadie and Sebastian created exactly the celebration they wanted: unpretentious, full of love, and surrounded by the people (and animals) that matter most.
