One couple and London’s most beautiful park all to ourselves? yes please
Some weddings don’t need the big venue or the massive guest list to be absolutely perfect, and Zoe and Spencer’s December ceremony at Holland Park proved exactly that. They kept things beautifully simple with a quick ceremony, then we spent the afternoon wandering around together. December in London can be grey and drizzly, but honestly? It just made everything feel more romantic and cosy, like we had the whole park to ourselves.
The Kyoto Gardens were stunning even in winter – all those bare branches and that peaceful atmosphere created the most incredible backdrop. Zoe and Spencer were completely relaxed, just enjoying being married and taking it all in. No rushing between locations, no strict timeline, just the two of them strolling through the gardens while I captured all those quiet, genuine moments between them.
WINTER WEDDINGS QUICKLY BECOMING MY FAVOURITE
This is the kind of wedding that reminds you that it’s really just about two people committing to each other. No fuss, no stress, just pure intention. Zoe and Spencer knew exactly what they wanted – an intimate day that felt like them – and they absolutely nailed it. Sometimes the smallest weddings create the biggest memories.

Holland Park is one of London’s most beautiful and intimate wedding venues – tucked away in Kensington, with the Kyoto Garden, the Orangery, and woodland walks providing a stunning natural backdrop. As a London documentary wedding photographer, I love shooting at Holland Park because it gives couples the space to be themselves, away from the formality of traditional venues. If you’re planning a Holland Park wedding and looking for a photographer who captures real moments without posing or direction, I’d love to hear from you.
