How do I summerise the hottest, funnest wedding of the year? I simply cant, you’ll just have to scroll through the whole blog. Thanks in advance.
How many photos did you take josh? all of them.
Jess and Ben’s Battersea Park wedding was an absolute burst of colour and sunshine from start to finish. Jess looked stunning in her floral dress, Ben rocked green, and the whole vibe was joyful and bright. Getting married at the bandstand is such a lovely choice – there’s something so romantic about an outdoor ceremony in the park, especially when you’re blessed with gorgeous weather like this. Oh, and Jess giving her bridesmaids Aesop poo drops as gifts? Brilliant. Practical, thoughtful, and absolutely hilarious.
The speeches were incredibly moving – the kind that make you put your camera down for a second because you’re genuinely emotional. But the moment that really got everyone was when Jess re-proposed to Ben to apologise for accidentally ruining his first attempt. I mean, talk about turning a mishap into the sweetest, funniest moment of the day. You could feel how much love there was in that room, mixed with plenty of laughter. That’s what makes the best weddings – when people can be completely themselves, imperfections and all.
Sun, fun and getting married.
Golden hour in Battersea Park delivered exactly what we needed for couple photos – that soft, gorgeous light and stylish backdrops everywhere you look. Then the party started and the dance floor was absolutely rammed. Everyone brought the energy, and Jess and Ben were right in the middle of it all, celebrating with their people. This was a wedding that perfectly captured who they are – colourful, fun, emotional, and completely unpretentious. Exactly how it should be.
